Refined in the Fire, Rooted in Praise
"In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ." —1 Peter 1:6–7
Hi sisters, and welcome back. I am so excited to finish this six-week series with you on "Trusting God in Life's Storms."
And let me tell you something: I knew the moment I started teaching this that a storm would come for me, too. That’s how it goes. The minute you step out to lead, to teach, to obey, you're tested. But through this, I've seen every principle we’ve studied become my anchor.

This Isn’t a Shallow Series
This isn’t a "feel-good" message. It’s a walk-through-the-fire-and-praise-Him-anyway message. Because storms don’t skip over faithful people, they reveal faith. And that’s what this journey has been about: not avoiding storms but learning to trust God in them.
Let’s recap where we’ve been:
Week 1: Trust — Trusting that He truly holds every part of our storm in His sovereign hands.
Week 2: Peace — Discovering the supernatural peace that guards our hearts beyond understanding.
Week 3: Hope — Finding hope in the waiting—even when we see no light at the end of the tunnel.
Week 4: Strength — Standing strong by putting on the full armor of God.
Week 5: Prayer — Learning the power of simple, honest, Spirit-led prayer.
Week 6: Praise & Faith — Worshiping not after the storm, but in it. And standing firm in faith that endures.
Faith That Stands Isn’t Built Overnight
This journey has led us through surrender, struggle, and worship. Now we stand. Not because we’ve avoided the fire, but because we’ve been refined by it. That’s what faith does—it holds when everything else shakes.
"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness." —James 1:2–3
Sister, the storm you're facing isn’t just trying to break you. It’s refining you. It’s making your faith unshakable.
Your Life Is a Tapestry, Not a Snapshot
We talked about this earlier in the series, but it’s worth repeating: Your life is a tapestry. And sometimes you’re only seeing one frayed, tangled corner. From your view, it doesn’t look beautiful. It doesn’t make sense.
But when God pulls back and shows you the full picture—the whole life, the story He’s writing—you’ll see how every storm, every sorrow, every "why God?" moment was woven into something glorious.
Some Beauty Is Hidden Beneath the Surface
You know how storms stir the ocean and reveal things buried deep below? That’s what storms do in us. They uncover what was hidden. The strength. The peace. The praise. The resilience.
And sometimes, the deep beauty in your life only surfaces after the storm has passed.
He Never Said It Would Be Easy
Jesus never promised a storm-free life. In fact, He told us it would be hard. "In this world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." —John 16:33
But He also said He would never leave us. "I am with you always, to the end of the age." —Matthew 28:20
You are in the palm of His hand, and He’s not letting go. Not now. Not ever.
Want to Go Deeper?
If this series spoke to you, there’s more waiting for you:
All six weeks are available as a YouTube playlist.
Inside our Facebook Sisterhood Group, I’ve posted each week’s teaching, journal prompts, and bonus video content.
There’s also a downloadable PDF with the full teachings and resource links. Grab it and revisit these truths anytime a new storm rolls in.
Because storms aren’t a one-time event. We’re always either about to face one, in the middle of one, or helping someone else walk through one.
Conclusion: Storm-Tested Faith Glorifies God
Sister, this series wasn’t just teaching—it was transformation. You’re not who you were six weeks ago. You’re more grounded. More equipped. More refined.
"He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." —Philippians 1:6
Thank you for walking this journey with me. I love you. I’m praying for you. And I believe with all my heart that your storm is shaping something eternal.
